The best things to do in Budapest in October
Budapest is beautiful in every season but autumn is the most gorgeous time in the Hungarian capital. The leaves are turning into juicy reds and yellows in the Városliget but also, the city center is changing equally with the season as well. Markets and fairs are taking place in the end of October because Christmas time is nearer each day. For me personally, I like Budapest in these months the best: I like to walk around the park with my dog in the early foggy evenings and also it is so nice to drink a sweet hot chocolate on a Sunday afternoon near to Astoria at my favourite place.
The best things to do in Budapest in October are taking long walks and visit the Instagrammable places in the city because they have some nice autumny glory around them in October. I likte to take pictures about the cold walls of the Fisherman’s Bastion and then have a spicy dinner at Jamie’s Italian in the Buda Castle. But I’m glad that November is here because I am counting the days until Christmas. I can’t wait to get some chimney cake at Vörösmarty Square and then drink some mulled vine with my friends at the annual Christmas Fair. I think that is the best time every year Budapest can experience.
